Take 5 minutes every day to stop and take notice when you are walking. Take your attention to your feet. Feel each step you take. Become aware of the action in each foot. Observe the movement from heal to toe. Don’t judge it. Don’t change it. Just notice it. Step after step feel each foot. When your mind wanders, take note and bring the attention back to the feet.
Do this as many times as necessary. Remember it’s a practice. There is no right or wrong. It just is.
