The Westsider: August, 2023

The Westsider is a not-for-profit, monthly community newspaper, written by volunteers and delivered to hundreds of pick-up points across the inner west each month.

TAKE HER TO DINNER – COUGAR MEAT

Cougar Meat have created a set of unique songs with influences from The Lonely Island, ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic and their own individual musical palettes.

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – DEAD RECKONING PART 1

Overall it’s a fantastic film and allows for plenty of character growth for both old and new characters, hooking us in for the next film.

OUR VOICE, OUR HEART: LOCAL FILMMAKERS BRIDGING COMMUNITIES IN REMOTE AND URBAN AUSTRALIA

Portrays the journey of these two men, depicted holding empty knowledge cups and a message stick, as they seek wisdom from elders and leaders across different Indigenous communities.

This September Gone Westerly and Friends, in conjunction with Kindred Bandroom, will be putting on another Foodbank Fundraising Gig.
