that maddening sponge-head spongers
had dragged up on the shore
Why should he remove the thorn
[self-inflicted] in the paw
of the angry loser losers
with their feet jammed in the door
pushing all in front aside
with rotting tooth and claw
while claiming to be put-upon
with their irrational whingey roar?
Why should Badly-Trousered
use his personally nurtured oar
to row the bullied and the sad
carefully back to shore?
Why should he clean up the mess
that they’d left on the floor?

would step around the poor
and leave them in his trousered wake
