More

Our electorate thrives because of the local businesses that call it home.

    Date:

When you choose to shop locally, you’re not just making a purchase, you’re investing in the community.

Local traders play a vital role in keeping Spotswood vibrant and lively. From the cozy cafes to the charming boutiques, each business adds its own unique flavour to the neighbourhood.

By supporting them, we ensure that our community remains a place where small businesses can grow and prosper.

The Victorian State Government offers a variety of grants and programs to support businesses in the electorate.

    Some of the programs include:

    • The Ready for Growth Program
    • Wellbeing and Mental Health Support for Victorian Small Businesses.

It's hard to find local stories because major news suppliers have economised by cutting local journalism. In addition, social media algorithms mean we have to work doubly hard to be seen.
