SEDDON COMMUNITY BANK SUPPORTS ASRC FOOD DRIVE

    Date:

Since the onset of COVID, the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) has experienced record demand for food support. Prior to the pandemic, they were supporting around 650 people with essential food and toiletries each week. That number has skyrocketed to more 1500+ since March.

With no government safety net available to them, people seeking asylum are left with nowhere else to turn for basic necessities when faced with unemployment.

The team at Seddon Community Bank are pleased to support the ASRC with a Festive Food Drive, where they will be welcoming food donations from the ASRC at the branch from the 1st – 21st December.

    Donations are welcomed –
