    FCAC KEEPS KIDS ENTERTAINED DURING LOCKDOWN

    With school holidays on the horizon, parents will be faced with finding entertaining activities to fill the hours of the day. Take the edge off with FCAC’s School Holiday Arts Programs – now delivered online!

    This virtual iteration of these much-loved Footscray Community Arts Centre’s workshop programs includes four options for kids and teenagers, built to inspire creative learning and expression through crafts, theatre, and movement.

    Extreme Arts!

    FCAC’s ‘Extreme Arts!’ school holiday program engages local artists to bring children authentic, creative learning experiences in the comfort of home. Spread across two sessions each day, primary school kids aged 6-12 explore their creativity through arts and crafts.

    Kids’ Theatre Intensive – ‘The Greatest!’

    A 4 day online theatre workshop for kids exploring the ‘the greatest’ ideas to build towards the greatest performance on earth! This kids theatre course is highly inclusive, encouraging confidence, creativity and play in young people.

    Theatre and Film Essentials for Kids – Free!

    For primary school level kids craving a space to be creative and play with others, these drama classes will get them up and moving with improvisation and drama games, all exploring the theme “This is me!” a celebration of the imagination and self.

    Theatre and Film Essentials for Teenagers – Free!

    In a year where many secondary students have missed important class and performance time with peers these classes, teenagers to explore their stage and screen skills with an experienced and passionate tutor.
