    BREW OF THE MONTH

    Date:

Deeds Brewing    Temporal Shift      Hazy TIPA     9.5% 440mL

So, this whole lockdown thing has been so inconsistent. Breweries open, then slammed shut. Luckily, I can rely on my fortnightly deliveries from Deeds Brewing (their Glen Iris taproom is right next to the train station, you’re welcome).

This new Hazy TIPA (Triple India Pale Ale) is a beast of a beer. Now, if you love your hop combos, try this on for size.

    Mosaic+Eukanot+Idaho 7+Eclipse+Simcoe Cryo+Sabro.

Put this equation into your mouth and the answer is a tropical, citrus bomb. It’s got a massive juicy profile and a hint of the coconut from Sabro.

It’s a beer you could easily share…but you probably won’t. And I will not hold that against you.

It's hard to find local stories because major news suppliers have economised by cutting local journalism. In addition, social media algorithms mean we have to work doubly hard to be seen.
