BIKE HUB ROLLS OUT NEW VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

    Date:

To cope with the large number of donations received from the generous Inner West community, the Volunteer Resource Centre at 4 Mills Close, Footscray, has been closed for a light revamp.

During the closure, the Bike Hub team have been hard at work transforming the well-used space into something bigger and better.

With easier access to fixing bikes and more repair stands and tools, volunteers will have greater opportunity to help rebuild the bikes, to ensure more bikes get out to people in the community who need them.

While the official relaunch was at the end of the April, the team at the Volunteer Resource Centre are now keen to welcome volunteers to be a part of the program. No bookings or experience is necessary – lots of ‘on the job’ training provided in a fun and relaxed setting.
