The Westsider welcomes Greater Western Water as a valued partner

Date:

It’s with great delight that The Westsider welcomes on board Greater Western Water (GWW)  as a valued partner. Their commitment to delivering high-quality water services and supporting the diverse communities of Melbourne’s west aligns perfectly with our mission to celebrate and uplift our local neighborhoods.

GWW was formed through the merger of City West Water and Western Water, and now provides water to millions of people across Melbourne’s western suburbs and regional towns. Beyond their essential water and wastewater services, GWW is deeply involved in community programs that promote water conservation and environmental stewardship. They work closely with local councils, schools, and organisations to educate the community on water usage. Their initiatives, including grants for community groups and support for vulnerable customers, showcase their commitment to making a meaningful impact in the west.

At The Westsider, we believe in the power of partnerships that foster community spirit and growth. By joining forces with Greater Western Water, we look forward to highlighting stories that matter—whether it’s about sustainable living, infrastructure improvements, or the people who make our neighborhoods thrive.

We extend a warm welcome to Greater Western Water and look forward to sharing their work, initiatives, and insights with our readers. Here’s to a partnership that flows strong and makes a difference!

It's hard to find local stories because major news suppliers have economised by cutting local journalism. In addition, social media algorithms mean we have to work doubly hard to be seen.
