Sharing Shed Melbourne is a nonprofit incorporated association run by a group of locals who are passionate about reducing waste and increasing community access to the abundance of goods, skills and related knowledge that already exists in our community.
This library doesn’t want your books…
It wants your things – those things you found to be useful but rarely used – like camping gear, movie projectors, microphones, board games, garden mulchers, tools, telescopes, marquees, trolleys, ladders, badge makers, and musical instruments.
Donating your stuff to the Sharing Shed allows the wider community to access the things they need, when they need it. It also increases the ability of others to engage in activities that they may not be able to otherwise where, for instance, they can’t afford to buy or store things.
Whether you’re decluttering or downsizing, your quality 2nd hand goods can be put to good use.
Community Drop-Off Day
Sharing Shed Melbourne community drop-off day is @ Yarraville Community Centre, 59 Francis Street, Yarraville on Sunday the 23rd of June 2019, from 10am to 2pm
Goods should be in an “as new” or lightly-used condition, do not bring things that are broken or have missing parts; or everyday household items like toasters, lamps, or household furniture.
