Thanks to the 2018 Community Pitch, The Westsider has been able to fund the first two newsstands as part of our Newsstand Art Project. The Sun Theatre is the lucky recipient of the first, with the next one to follow soon.
Sun Theatre spokesperson Krissa Jansson said “We’re so proud to be able to host the stand and provide another reason for people to visit Yarraville and drop into the pop-up park. The artwork looks great and reflects the community spirit that’s been built here.”
Editor of The Westsider Newspaper, Derek Green added “We have always wanted to make the paper as accessible and easy to find as possible. Now you know you’ll always get a Westsider outside the fabulous and iconic Sun Theatre.”
