Spotswood Summer Sessions returns in 2026!
LOCATION: Forrest Street, Spotswood, 3015
After an incredible response to the initial Spotswood Summer Sessions, we’re excited to gather again for a second series of pop-up music events designed to bring the community together in the heart of our vibrant neighbourhood.
Featuring local musicians, bands and DJ’s, this will be the perfect opportunity to grab some tasty bites from nearby traders and gather with friends and neighbours, and soak up the summer vibes!
These events shine a light on everything that makes Spotswood special – our vibrant community, incredible local food, creativity, and connection. With live music, good vibes, and plenty to enjoy, it’s the perfect way to spend a summer afternoon. Free, family friendly, and full of heart.
Bring your crew, feel the buzz, and celebrate summer the Spotswood way!

The Westsider is an incorporated association operating as a not for profit. We’re an independent monthly community newspaper for the inner-western suburbs of Melbourne, powered by community journalism and publishing articles written by people who live and work in the inner west. There are many ways you can get involved.
The Westsider is run on the power of volunteers. Your contribution directly contributes to ensuring we can continue serving and celebrating our community.
The Westsider is created on the unceded lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
The Westsider is bound by the Standards of Practice of the Australian Press Council.
