Step into the shadows, and experience music that
lingers long after the final notes fade…
A truly unique evening of live cinematic soundscapes and haunting melodies,
where delicate strings meet deep resonant drones, and moments of quiet give
way to powerful crescendos.
Through the support of Maribyrnong City Council Arts and Culture, Shadow
Resonance brings together five boundary-defying musicians who craft moments
of introspection, darkness and beauty. Violins, cellos, harps, and the gifts of
modern technology fused into 3.5 hours of performance at Footscray’s historic
Bluestone Church Arts Space.
This will be an evening of irregular and unexpected neoclassical, ambient and
contemporary live music. A convergence of sound, atmosphere, and emotion
born of stringed instruments from the renaissance to the present day.
Shadow Resonance is being produced by Ivan Bullock’s “Dawn Industry”, a local Naarm/Melbourne non-profit that has
spent over two decades building communities for fellow experimental musicians, produced over 20 underground events
in Victoria, and recently unleashed the Shadow Resonance concept with a sold out show at Club Voltaire in May 2026.

opportunities for artists who are classically inspired, as contemporary string music is also very dear to me, it is where

Performers:
Violinsidious – Solo violin and machines. Cinematic and melodic, with an industrial undertow.
Willebrant – Solo bass guitar, found instruments and field recordings. Immersive textures and emotive expanses that
invite the listener to form vivid visual narratives through sound.
Beyond the Lake – Cello and guitar duet. Ambient music to inspire peace and reflection.
Minorarc – Violin, keyboards, guitar and bass trio. Cinematic dark classical music with tension from metal and jazz.
Emily Rosner – Solo harp, voice and looping. Textured works that move between ambient, neoclassical, folk and
experimental music traditions
