Do you feed or care for a stray or semi-owned cat in our community? You may be eligible for free desexing and microchipping through our funded responsible pet ownership program.
This program is designed to support residents who are already caring for stray or semi-owned cats by helping them take the next step toward ongoing care and responsibility. Eligible cats will be desexed, microchipped, and registered, then returned to the property where they are currently being cared for as either semi-owned or fully owned pets.
We are partnering with The Vet Project to provide these services, with desexing appointments scheduled for 24 June 2026.
Program details:
Free desexing, microchipping, and registration
For stray or semi-owned cats only
Cats must return to the property for ongoing care after surgery
