Raspberry and Cherry Biere de Coupage

By Emily Speakman

A factory housed alongside the Mobil Refinery in Williamstown North isn’t the first place you would expect a brewery to be…but my word there is some magic in there!

Like this Raspberry and Cherry Biere de Coupage. The pour is ruby red due the added fruits.

The first sip is delicious! Tart and sweet from the raspberries and cherries, funk from it being a wild ale. Finishes exceptionally dry and refreshing and makes you want more.

I will be going back and grabbing another can for sure (purchased at Hopheads Altona if you’re looking for one!)

Our content is a labour of love, crafted by dedicated volunteers who are passionate about the west. We encourage submissions from our community, particularly stories about your own experiences, family history, local issues, your suburb, community events, local history, human interest stories, food, the arts, and environmental matters. Below are articles created by community contributors. You can find their names in the bylines.

It's hard to find local stories because major news suppliers have economised by cutting local journalism. In addition, social media algorithms mean we have to work doubly hard to be seen.
