    The backstory to how Furiosa became the Charlize Theron badass character we met in Fury Road, and who better with her screen presence and intensity to fill those shoes than Anya Taylor-Joy. As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants battle for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.

    Beautifully filmed in black and white, a slow moving but so carefully crafted tale of an Afghani former US military translator who, after being stationed in Afghanistan, returns to San Francisco to put her life back in order.

    Working at a fortune cookie factory, in a moment of sudden revelation, she decides to send out a special message via cookie. This film is a delight with a very dry, poignant sense of observational humour.

When Dodin is faced with Eugenie’s reluctance to commit to him, he decides to start cooking for her. Make sure you eat beforehand or you will have hunger cravings throughout the film then go out for dinner and undoubtedly order more than you can eat.
