JC lives in Newport, with shared care of his kids Leo, Gus and Ada, bulldog Ozzy, chickens Summer and Winter, and turtle Snuggles.
Formerly a self-confessed ‘corporate wanker in a suit’, JC is now a freelance writer, comedian/storyteller, and has recently established a business and community program training people in mental health first aid and speaks/presents on mental health and good masculinity. New to running, JC loves getting along to park-run at Newport Lakes, and other good running spots in the inner west.
“The Westsider has been so great to me the past few years, its helped me find a voice as a writer, and strengthen my identity as a person. I love being part of this community.”
