After the COVID-19 pandemic put a stop to already planned Dance for Parkinson’s & Wellbeing classes that were organised by Katrina Rank & ParKanDo West in 2020 they did not give up!
Now, twelve months later, with the support of Hobsons Bay City Council through its Make It Happen Grants program, the classes are being offered both face to face and online, allowing for people to do what is comfortable and safe for them.
Dance has been shown as beneficial to all of us as we age and these classes are fun and accessible with good music!
The classes take place at the Brooklyn Community Hall (Wednesday’s at 10am) and are welcoming to all Seniors, people with Parkinson’s and other chronic conditions, their families and carers, who want to move, groove and maintain their physical and mental health!
