LOCAL GYM COMMUNITY TRIUMPHS AT STATE COMPETITION

    Date:

In an impressive feat Bodytek Fitness in Sunshine has emerged victorious in the highly competitive Victorian Myzone Moves Interclub Challenge.

The challenge sees participants wearing a cutting-edge tracking device that meticulously tracks their Myzone Effort Points (MEPs) over the course of one month. These MEPs are then amalgamated into a collective average score allowing gyms to be ranked accordingly.

Bodytek Fitness achieved an average score of 4140 MEPs securing the top position in Victoria.

Owner Adam Hrehoresin expressed immense pride in the gym members and said they ‘wholeheartedly participated in the challenge. Every single member gave their absolute best, showcasing remarkable commitment and determination.’

Among the 2,000 participants across the state, four Bodytek members outshone their peers and clinched positions within the top 20 in Victoria. A notable achievement was made by Effie Ross, a long-term member, who secured an impressive 7th place by earning a massive 8925 MEPs.

‘The journey was undoubtedly challenging, but I am immensely proud of our united efforts. The Bodytek community is truly extraordinary,’ said Effie. Her words reflect the tight-knit and supportive atmosphere that unites this gym community.

Adam, who has been managing the Sunshine gym alongside his wife Emma since 2014, said they’d gone through many trials and tribulations during the COVID-19 lockdown period. But, like many fitness establishments, Bodytek Fitness navigated through the challenging times with the invaluable support of their local community.

‘This win serves as an inspiration to others,’ he said by ‘encouraging them to explore the abundance of benefits offered by their local fitness center’.

‘Individuals can embark on a transformative fitness journey while being part of a vibrant community that prioritizes growth, support, and achievement’ he said.
