It’s that time of year again, where the Inner West comes alive with festivals. It’s been a long wait for locals to come together in person and celebrate. March is jam packed with fun from The Yarraville Festival, Brooklyn’s Out & About Festival to West Footscray’s Festival of Colours.
Festival of Colours
The Festival of Colours also known as Holi and for its tradition of ‘throwing of the colours’, celebrates the many cultures that call West Footscray home. “It has been a long 2 years but we have persevered and can’t wait for the community and Traders to join in the celebrations this year,” says Pradeep Tiwari, President of the West Footscray Traders Association. Expect a wonderful array of food, flavours, live music, dance, roving entertainment and local fun.
