I’m back! And have you heard the Buzz on the street? Our local brewery Hop Nation has swooped in and won Champion Beer in the Best Amber / Dark Ale category for The Buzz American Red in the recent AIBAs (Australian International Beer Awards) amongst 11 other medals. A pretty fabulous feat!
So, I grabbed a can to celebrate. And perfect timing I might say, as this cooler Melbourne weather is screaming for darker beers.
This Red Ale has a delightful red hue, with a piney, tropical aroma. The 6% ABV (alcohol by volume) allows you to sip and savour its malty goodness.
This can was purchased at Goods Grocer in Altona. Who, since revamping the store, have a great range of local craft beers to check out.
