Record crowd raises $1.3m for the Good Friday Appeal

Thank you to everyone who joined the Herald Sun and Transurban on Sunday 17 March for the 2024 Run for the Kids, raising an extraordinary $1.3 million for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

Transurban has been a proud partner of this iconic Melbourne event since it commenced in 2006, and each year we welcome the opportunity to open our road and give people the unique experience of running or walking on CityLink.

Talented students from Melbourne’s west awarded scholarships

Transurban was proud to present scholarships to over 100 talented and motivated students in Melbourne’s west this month, as part of the Western Chances Scholarship Program.

The scholarships, which Transurban has sponsored since 2016, support the students to overcome financial barriers, complete their education and pursue their career pathway.

Since 2004, over 4,000 young people have been supported by a Western Chances scholarship. Scholarship awardees have gone on to excel in high school and university and leave a lasting positive impact on their communities.

Congratulations to all 2024 scholarship recipients!
