Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, these sessions provide a hands-on and engaging introduction to the art of wheel-thrown ceramics. Fleur will support you at every stage, from brainstorming your first designs to adding the final touches to your pieces.
Throughout the term, you will learn the essentials, including how to center and throw clay to create forms such as bowls, mugs, and vases. As your skills develop, you will explore trimming techniques to refine your work, along with basic construction, surface decoration, and glazing methods.
