As part of the Melton City Girls Can campaign this March, Melton Bowls Club are running a FREE Lawn Bowls session for women aged 18 years and above!
The session will start with a beginner friendly lawn bowls session where you’ll be guided by an experienced player to learn this popular game. Participants will then hear from guest speaker, Kumari Mangos, who will be talking about the decline of women in sport with an emphasis on Lawn Bowls, and how campaigns like ‘This Girl Can’ are helping to address the issue.
All equipment will be provided. Please bring a drink bottle and wear comfortable clothing and footwear that allows you to move your body freely, and most importantly, just come and have fun!
