Renowned for her remarkable ability to adapt and transform, Cassidy embodies the essence of a chameleon, skilfully shifting her persona to captivate and entertain diverse crowds. Her dynamic presence and artistic versatility have solidified her status as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry, both locally and internationally.
Cassidy is a familiar face at Grazeland, where her infectious energy and larger-than-life personality make her a standout presence, and just recently, she performed for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre Telethon and helped raise over $1.5 million to support refugees and asylum seekers.

Imagine our excitement when we found out Cassidy resides in Seddon. I caught up with Cassidy to learn more about the person behind the persona.
How would you describe yourself professionally?
I describe myself as a modern showgirl for a new generation and ‘The Hype Girl You Never Knew You Needed!’ At the heart of everything I do is creating unforgettable moments that bring people together, whether that’s through live vocals, DJing, storytelling or crowd interaction.
My signature performances combine old Hollywood glamour with contemporary energy. I sing live while DJing, blending powerhouse vocals, choreography and audience participation into a show that’s somewhere between a concert, a cabaret and a dance party. It’s theatrical, interactive and designed to make people feel like they’re part of the experience rather than simply watching it.
Alongside my showgirl performances, I specialise in multilingual entertainment, performing songs in multiple languages as a way of connecting with diverse communities and celebrating different cultures. I also work as a live entertainment DJ for major sporting events, including AFLW games, where my role is to build energy in the stadium and create an atmosphere that unites thousands of people.
Beyond the stage, I’m passionate about using my voice to create impact. As a motivational speaker, radio host and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse communities, I love having honest conversations about authenticity, confidence and belonging. Whether I’m speaking to a room of professionals, interviewing performers on air or standing in front of thousands at a major event, my goal is always the same, to help people feel seen, connected, uplifted and inspired.
How long have you lived in Seddon?
This time round I have been calling the West home for two years now and am loving every minute of it. I think Seddon is the West’s best kept secret and has such a beautiful community that it’s been so wonderful to get to be a part of.
I have had the honour of being the resident Saturday night DJ & hype girl at the iconic Grazeland in Spotswood for four years now and love bringing the party to their stages every weekend.
What initially attracted you to the neighbourhood?
I’ve always loved the West, having lived in Kensington and Avondale Heights last time I lived in Melbourne (about 10 years ago). Many of my family have always been Westsiders with relatives spread across Williamstown and Spotswood, through to Kensington, Maribyrnong, and Melton, the West has always been a staple for us to visit on our yearly visits while I was growing up and all of my family have always stuck to the West since relocating back from Queensland where we were raised.
