    By Yarraville Community Centre

Yarraville Community Centre offers over fifty short courses and workshops each term. Each class offers individuals a different opportunity to explore and learn valuable skills with like-minded people in a welcoming and inclusive environment. With so many different options each term, the possibilities for upskilling or venturing into a new hobby are always available.

Ranging from art and style, computers and business, cooking and hospitality, gardening and sustainability, to financial literacy, fitness and wellbeing. These expert-led courses cater to a wide range of interests, so whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned enthusiast, the tutors will ensure you learn at the right pace.

Winter, with its shorter days and cooler temps is a great time to book a course within the beautiful building at YCC. Throughout the term, FREE courses are also offered covering topics on real estate, financial management and numeracy along with children’s workshops. Courses can range from a few hours to several weeks depending on the complexity and depth of the workshop. Enabling participants to get a good introduction to the shorter workshops such as a new cooking class or a comprehensive deep dive into learning a new language.
