The committee of the Footscray ANA Cricket Club has great pleasure in announcing the appointment of James Muirhead as Senior Coach for the 2020/21 season.
“We are very pleased that our extensive search for the right coach for our cricket club is over,” said President John Wetzler. “In James we believe we have found the best person to lead our club’s on field operation, and develop the potential of all our cricketers, regardless of age or ability. We can’t wait for him to get started,” he said.
James has vast experience in the game of cricket and has represented Australia, Victoria, several BBL franchises, and is currently playing with the Footscray Edgewater cricket club.
“I am looking forward to joining this proud club with a great deal of enthusiasm and working with the committee and players to create the stepping stones for a great future for the club,” said James Muirhead on his appointment.
Full details of our 2020/21 pre-season training schedule including our season launch and player registration day will be published on the club website and social media feeds as soon as we get some further guidance from Cricket Victoria.
