    YCC HELPING LOCALS LEARN AND EARN

    Yarraville Community Centre is excited to announce a suite of new nationally accredited courses available at Yarraville and Footscray sites commencing in August. These new courses will open doors to employment opportunities in social, community care and education support.

    The following courses on offer are free for all students.

    CHC32015 Certificate III in Community Services 3 days per week x 20 weeks Wednesday
    16th August
    CHC30221 Certificate III in School Based Education Support 3 days per week x 20 weeks Monday
    28th August
    CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support 3 days per week x 22 weeks Monday
    14th August
    CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) 3 days per week x 26 weeks Monday
    14th August

     

    These courses align with the needs of industry, changing priorities in the workforce and meet emerging skill demands in the economy.

    Job Trainer

    Subsidised training places are available to people aged 18 or above and JobSeekers, even if they don’t meet the ‘upskilling’ or ‘two at level in a lifetime’ eligibility requirements.

    In addition, YCC offers a range of educational programs such as, Digital Literacy, English language and literacy and preparatory courses leading to further study or employment.
