    Gathering for good

    Date:

On Wednesday 13 November, Local Impact and Community Bank Seddon presented the Gather for Good Event at Footscray Community Arts.

The room was full or do-ers, ideas, local leaders in social enterprise sharing lived experience, resources, the highs, the lows. The importance of storytelling and building your network to learn, grow and succeed.

Local Impact shared how we offer a wrap-around service of support and are able to connect social enterprises with the right people, ‘doing good’ in our thriving inner-west community.

Thank you all who joined us, including our guest speakers. Pictured above are:

    • Dr Daniel Mulino MP
    • Marnie Baker, former Bendigo & Adelaide Bank
    • Sarah Franklyn, Community Bank Seddon
    • Andy Moutray-Read, Local Impact
    • Sally Quinn, Green Collect
    • Jen Riley, Our Community

We hope everyone walked away with new connections and energised to do good in the social enterprise space.

    Did you know?

It's hard to find local stories because major news suppliers have economised by cutting local journalism. In addition, social media algorithms mean we have to work doubly hard to be seen.
