Yes. Local council has a role in nurturing, supporting and celebrating local creatives and industries in communities.
Should/how can Council help alleviate the impact of climate extremes on local communities and ecosystems?
Yes. Through practical measures such as improving tree canopy, purchasing EVs for the council fleet, recycling materials, garden cuttings, water etc.
Should/how can Council help alleviate cost of living and homelessness?
Yes. Through minimising rate increases and council charges. Through reduced council fees e.g. swimming pool entry charges. Through outreach programs and partnering with welfare organisations.

Interstate and overseas travel for councillors and council officers. Lavish council events. Advocating for state, national and international issues.

Can you please provide a short personal statement detailing what your priorities are if elected, and what your vision for your electorate looks like.
As one of the largest councils in the Melbourne metropolitan area, by land size, population, budget and personnel, Brimbank Council should be split in two; one in the south centred on Sunshine and one in the north centred on Keilor. In this manner the two new local councils would be able to deliver the services and infrastructure expected of local government efficiently and effectively.
