Titch has always longed for adventure, just like the gallant mouse Bravepaw in all her favourite stories. But she is the smallest mouse in her family, living in a peaceful little village where nothing exciting ever happens … until DIRE TROUBLE comes to the Plateau!
Bravepaw is a small but mighty book, fast-paced and packed full of adventure. Quests, fantasy, bravery, courage, and fierce friendship. We recommend this book for anyone, young or old, with an adventurous spirit.
All Fours
By Miranda July
$32.99
A woman leaves her husband and child for a spontaneous road trip from one end of the US to the other. She stops at a motel on the first night and never leaves, choosing instead to renovate her motel room and contemplate many things; her marriage, her motherhood, her art, her purpose, in an attempt to excavate her beliefs and move into the unknown.
This is an addictive, strange, hilarious, sexy novel about reinvention and womanhood, about the nature of commitment and desire, and the joy of the unfamiliar. A bold, unexpected read, All Fours will shock you, make you laugh out loud, and stay with you long after it ends.

The Wren, The Wren
By Anne Enright
Carmel and Nell have always had each other but when Nell leaves home, both of them are left with time and space to reflect on their mother daughter relationship, how they have treated each other and how they have been treated by other people. Their relationship to Carmel’s father, a famous Irish poet, who is adored by the public but Carmel knows as an absent father, adds another layer of complicated feelings and childhood negligence to unpack.
Anne Enright is a master at captivating family dynamics and this family is filled with unlikable people at their worst. Even so, Enright made me fall in love with all of them. This novel is about people doing the best they can with what they know which is universally relatable. A poetic read that left me satisfied even when I wasn’t ready to finish it.
In the Dream House
By Carmen Maria Machado
When Carmen meets the woman, their relationship becomes the dream house. Carmen is initially excited to be in her first relationship with a woman but what appears to be idyllic and dreamy soon becomes dark and traumatic. Machado has written a vulnerable and honest memoir about her experience in an abusive relationship and explores how a partner can be both charismatic yet incredibly manipulative and how this combination can entirely dismantle you. The episodic nature of this memoir allows Machado to dissect their relationship from beginning to end at every angle and takes you on an engrossing and emotional journey. A powerful and moving read that comes highly recommended.
