    NOTE FROM THE EDITOR

    Date:

Wearing “Melbourne Black’ is so pre-pandemic. Dopamine dressing is where it’s at. Colourful fashion, bold prints, strong solid colours, mix and match, has been everywhere the last few years. Psychological research finds that there is correlation between dressing in colours and an increase in happiness and wellbeing. Who knew?

After long lockdowns, we’re hoping February’s cover girl Jessica Le and stunning mural Flower in Minor, located in St Albans, will lift the mood for a while.

The artists explain that, in a section of the mural, “a wave of abstract paint pours out of the gramophone giving life to colour, flowers and birds from different parts of the world. Birds and insects fly out, representing migration and movement around the globe.” Something to aspire to as the year rolls on.
