    Join us at Newport Library on Wednesday 10 December from 10.30am to 1.00pm for a special Christmas screening of the beloved classic Scrooge (1951).

    This heartwarming adaptation of Charles Dickens’ ‘A Christmas Carol’ follows Ebenezer Scrooge on his journey from bitterness to generosity after being visited by three ghosts on Christmas Eve. Enjoy this timeless tale of compassion and redemption in a cosy library setting with fellow community members.

    Popcorn, tea and coffee provided. Themes: Ghosts and the supernatural, poverty set in Victorian London times.
