    The Westsider is a not-for-profit, monthly community newspaper, written by volunteers and delivered to locations across Melbourne's west each month.

    Founded in 2014, the paper has grown from it's original grassroots funding to a much loved publication in the west.

    Our mission is to be an accessible and relevant advocate for the people, places, organisations and activities of Melbourne’s west.

    Our purpose

    Our purpose is to nurture a cycle of awareness, engagement, interaction and participation within the local community.
