KEEP IT BAGS DONATION TO BRAYBROOK COMMUNITY HUB PROGRAMS

    Date:

Braybrook Community Hub continues to support its wonderfully diverse community by providing free dinners and lunches to those in need through different partnerships with CoHealth, the Department of Justice and 300 Blankets – Soul Kitchen.

In addition to these community events, a new volunteer workshop called ‘Keep it Bags’ has recently started at the Braybrook Community Hub with the aim to make enough recyclable bags to give to every person that attends the centre’s community dinners and lunches.

The bags are made by a sewing group that meets regularly at the Hub with the aim is to have 100 bags completed for the 1st anniversary of Soul Kitchen on the 1st July.

The bags are amazing and made from donated and preloved clothing or fabric.

For further information please contact the Braybrook Community Hub on 9188 5800 or email braycomm@maribyrnong.vic.gov.au
